On Friday Liam got his first haircut! I was trying to wait as long as I could but honestly the rat tail in the back just wasn't that attractive.

This past weekend my whole family went to Atlanta, Georgia for my cousin Anna's wedding. This included lots of laughter, quality cousin time, and Liam's first plane ride.
Liam did really well on the plane to Atlanta. He ate his dinner which helped with the pressure in his ears, which he never complained about it. And then we watched a little bit of cousin Elliott's DVD that he said Liam could borrow. What a nice cousin!
While in Atlanta Liam was the belle of the ball. Everyone wanted to hold him and have him make his "funny face." Which is quite hilarious and of course once he realized that everyone was laughing at him for doing it he did it more, and more, and more.
During the wedding Liam was again quite good, even though mommy and daddy forgot to pack any books or toys that he could look at during the ceremony; the only time he made a peep was when mommy tried to give him a drink of water which he guzzled down and than started choking on. :)
The reception was even better! Loud music, cousins, aunts and Grandma dancing with him was lots of fun! Let's just say he slept all through the night and even past his usual wake up time.
Before getting back on the plane home we stopped at a puppet museum that Uncle Blair wanted to visit. We saw Big Bird, Kermit and lots of other puppets. Only I got scared in one of the puppet rooms when one of the puppets started moving without prompting. Liam loves puppets and especially liked it when his aunts put on a puppet show for him to watch.
While Liam did great on the plane, we are glad the trip is behind us. And with all the bags we had to drag through the airport we may wait until Liam is a little older for our next airplane adventure.

Da-da
Liam has finally said "Da-da." I don't know if it was even sweeter that he started saying it during the Packers game but now we have three words to his vocabulary.
Da-da is very happy!

Climb every mountain...
I was curious yesterday to see if Liam could climb the stairs. So, I put him on the first step and....YES! Of course he can go up stairs.
Liam actually went up the stairs very well for one of his first tries. He slipped a couple times but I (and Butters) was right there to make sure he didn't fall more than a step back down again.
Here are some pictures to document yet another milestone.
*Please ignore my robe-it is below 60 degrees outside which means my house feels like it is below 50.

This picture has nothing to do with climbing stairs but we were playing peek a boo, and I thought it was really cute
