Difference in opinion

L: "Mom, I'm so tired. I worked so hard tonight during T-Ball practice. I ran, I threw the ball, I caught the ball...."

C: "I tired too. I sat in chair. I ate cereal.

Growing up

Liam has had his two lower front teeth loose since January. Last week he was jumping on a trampoline and fell and hit his mouth knocking one of the loose teeth even more so. This week he was eating a peach and we heard a crunch. Liam immediately began to cry and blood was beginning to drip from his mouth so I encouraged him that it was time to pull it.  I really wanted him to pull it himself but he was kinda scared and kept crying. Plus I knew that I could easily pull it out in  a matter of seconds. So we agreed that I could try. 

Once it was over he was so proud and I couldn't have been any more impressed. The tooth fairy brought him two gold chocolate coins and a dollar bill.

Happy birthday (yesterday) to this sweet girl! I can't believe she's two!

My fashionista

Yesterday Evan and Caroline were playing in her room.  I have a tendency to take clean laundry to their respected rooms but I don't actually put the clothes in the closet or in the dresser. 

So Caroline, who was already dressed, kept trying to put on various outfits. Evan told her that she didn't need to get dressed because she already had clothes on. 

C: "But they're cute!"

A new outfit with her favorite lady bug rain boots. 

My little sweetie

This morning:

M: "Caroline, tomorrow is your birthday we should do something today to celebrate!"

C: "I'll have cake!"

My little sweetie eating her Lucky Charms. She loves marshmallows!
