Update

Just a few things to keep everyone updated in the life of Liam:

It turns out that the radio not working in Evan's car is a good thing as this allows Evan at stop lights, on the way to the babysitters, to review Liam's alphabet flash cards. Currently they are working on Aa, Ll and Nn.

Since I am attempting to exercise at the moment I forgot that I had my 5 lb weights on the floor until I heard a loud thud. (I was in the kitchen) As it was a foreign sound to my ears that meant I had to investigate, where I met Liam in the dining room, carrying both of my weights (10 lbs) with lots of grunting, bringing them to me so I could keep working out.

Tonight on our walk Liam rode in his wagon for most of our walk. Towards the end he asked to be let out so he could run. Turns out he is quite the little runner and also got quite a few smiles on the constitution trail. After stopping at the bicycle shop to see if they had any tricycles (they didn't) I asked him if he wanted to get back in the wagon for the two blocks home. Of course he said no and instead wanted to pull the wagon. All by himself. All the way home. And when he was made aware that I would pull the wagon and hold his hand while crossing the street he of course cried and yelled "Me do it! Me do it Mommy!"

If Liam is getting in trouble for something and he thinks his mom or dad is being mean and unfair he will ask for the other parent. I think he's secretly trying to form an alliance with one of us, he just isn't clear on who it should be yet.

Every night before bedtime Liam sits on the potty and will pee consistently. Possibly only because he consistently gets an M & M.

And it turns out that at his babysitters Liam has become quite the bully. Every day for the last 2-3 weeks we hear about him hitting, pushing, not listening to others and today he bit someone. We don't know what to do about this behavior yet. Currently we remind him every morning and night that if he wants to be friends and be a nice boy that all of the above behaviors are unacceptable. So far that's not working.

Besides being the bully Liam's personality is really shining through. He is really funny, loves to make people laugh and is a very good sharer with his cousins. Every night we pray for Papa Fink and Papa Walles. Others make the list but these are the consistent ones. And the other night he prayed for Daddy, and to make sure that Jesus knew who he was talking about he said Evan.
