Baseball. all. of. the. time.

It's official. Liam is obsessed with baseball. Our days consist of Liam hitting wiffle balls in the front yard, Liam asking Dad to play catch, and Liam asking Dad to take him to a park to practice hitting. There are baseball cards in various places about the house and we are "quizzed" on these players hourly. My answer is usually, "I have no idea". The girls answer is,  "I don't know". Evan is the only one who likes to participate in this thrilling game. During our quarantine Evan taught Liam how to play baseball cards. This is a game that Evan used to play when he was a kid that involves dice and two players. What you roll determines if you hit a single, double, triple or a homer.

This is pretty common to see on a daily basis

When I come downstairs in the morning Liam is already watching a baseball game or playing baseball on the PlayStation. It is 6:45 am. He is allowed to do this until his sisters wake up and then I usually have to insist he turn it to a cartoon.

With Covid, we weren't sure if a baseball season was going to exist for him to participate in but thank goodness his league decided to play. He loves the practices, the warm-ups and of course the game. This is the first year the kids are pitching to each other and he really enjoys pitching.

His coaches and teammates this year have been great. The coaches have guided the boys with positivity and meaningful tips on how to play the game. Not every coach operates this way as we have seen and we feel so grateful that Liam got a great one this year.
