Tales from the sitter

Today Grammie Walles watched Liam and had this funny story to tell me when I got home from work. When Sandy comes over she doesn't allow Butters to be on the furniture. Usually because she has just vacuumed all the dog hair from said furniture. Butters is usually allowed on the furniture while we are home because we kind of just let her do whatever she wants now that she's been replaced by Liam. Anyway, Butters was sleeping on the couch and Liam walked up to her, pointed his finger at her and said very firmly 'NO!' Funny part was Butters listened! Sandy said she jumped right down and than laid down on the floor. Liam went back to doing his puzzle.

Aunt Emily watched Liam on Monday and Tuesday where she swears that Liam said "I would like a taste of that." Yeah, I really don't believe that one but she swears. She also swears that he slept until 9:45 Tuesday morning. I don't think that that happened either. A lot of times Liam will wake up from a nap or in the morning and just play quietly in his crib. Emily must have been watching the Today show.

On Tuesday, when I came home from work Liam was doing something that he shouldn't have been and so I corrected him for it.  His response?  Immediate crying and he ran away from me to be saved....by Aunt Emily. He grabbed her legs and buried his head in between her legs, refusing to look at me. What an evil mother!

I do appreciate my family who give up a day or more of their lives to spend with my son. It means the world to Evan and I. But much more to this sweet little boy.
