Last night we all went to Target to purchase various items that we needed. (I know, I know, sounds like a great post already) We were going down the aisle and a few aisles away you could hear a little boy getting in very big trouble with his parents. They were threatening to take away his birthday presents and numerous other punishments for the misbehaving he was doing. As no child wants to have his birthday presents taken away the maybe 5-7 year old was screaming and crying NO! NO!
Evan and I were slightly smirking at what was happening just a few feet from us until our son decided to join along with this little boy. Liam, in the loudest voice he could, began to yell along 'NO! NO!'
I really could not help it then and was laughing and crying so hard that I had to cover my mouth. Liam, of course, loves to make me laugh even when he knows he is not supposed to. Or especially when he knows he is not supposed to. Evan, as usual, is completely embarrassed by the both of us and tries to wheel Liam far away from the screaming boy. Liam still seeing that I am laughing at him continues to scream 'NO!' until Evan makes me go ahead of the cart so he can no longer see me again. (and I can control myself)
Evan continued to make me walk ahead of the cart for the rest of our outing and I definitely avoided eye contact with the family when we were all checking out. As if they didn't know it was us all along.
