Sixteen years of growing with you as a person and as a parent. Sixteen years of getting to annoy one another and laugh with each other. Sixteen years of some amazing days and some days where we just try to get to bedtime without going down in flames. But the best sixteen years have been with you. So glad we are doing this thing together.
To celebrate this year we decided to drop the kids off at Grandpa and Grandma Fink's for an overnight stay and we headed to the Quad Cities. Jeff and Emily gave us some recommendations on places to see and eat so we started off in Moline at a Thai restaurant called Lemongrass Cafe. So delicious! We then walked along the Mississippi and up onto the new bridge that has a walking trail. We were able to walk from Illinois to Iowa and then back again. We checked out Davenport next and enjoyed their downtown area and their many breweries. The following day went to their art museum which was really done well.
Sixteen years has flown by and I can't wait to see what else lies ahead.
